You are requested to prepare:1) a conceptual design and basic annotated drawings of selected structural elements with sufficient information for pricing; and2) Supporting design calculations.Details must include all required structural concrete sizes, require reinforcement and relevant design information that may affect the final construction cost for the building. The specific expectations for Structural Deliverable 1 are provide in Appendix B.3) Structural Deliverable 2Prepare a conceptual design and basic annotated drawings for the vertical and lateral load bearing elements of the building (columns and walls). The design is to be completed using hand calculations. Computer Software programs such as Microsoft Excel is permitted to assist with repetitive calculations. However commercial design applications such as RAPT, RC Column, Strand? or Etabs are not to be used.
