Data ModellingYour task is to read your assigned case study carefully and create a Data Model that complies withReferential Integrity and being in Third Normal Form.Stage 1 – Requirement Gathering (Due Date: 12/8/2021, no later than 12:30pm)1• Read your assigned case study carefully.• Identify all possible “things” that are related to the construction of your ERD.• Examine the “things” and identify all possible entities.• Examine the remaining “things” and categorise them according to the entities identified.• Validate and remove all irrelevant entities and attributes.• Report the above findings by completing the following table.

1 You must schedule a 5 mins meeting with your lecturer (ideally during the consultation). During the meeting,your lecturer will comment on your submission.• Submit a single MS Word document to include the completed table via Blackboard by 12/8/2021(no later than 12:30pm).2Stage 2 – EDR Draft (Due Date: 19/8/2021, no later than 12:30pm)3• Based on the entities and attributes identified in Stage 1, develop an Entity Relationship Diagram(ERD)4, and a Relational Model that comply with Referential Integrity and being in Third NormalForm.• Submit a single MS Word document to include your ERD and Relationship Model via Blackboardby 19/8/2021 (no later than 12:30pm)5.Stage 3 – Research Report (Due Date: 29/8/2021, no later than 23:59:59)• Submit a single MS Word document (via Blackboard and Turnitin) to include the following by29/8/2021 (no later than 23:59:59)6.– Your refined ERD and Relational Model (based on the comments provided by your lecturer).– Appropriate Business Rules or Assumptions that you have made.2 No mark is allocated to Stage 1 submission but your Stage 3 submission will only be given 50% of the originalresult if you do not submit in Stage 1.3 You must schedule a 5 mins meeting with your lecturer (ideally during the consultation).
