Final Project Details
Please read the below project details carefully which is outlined in the following three pages.
In this assignment, you and your team are invited to do detailed project plan with some changes to scope, time, quality, cost considering ethical aspects of these changes and develop and present a poster. To do this, you may choose one of your submitted projects in the previous assignment (project proposal) or choose one of the two cases provided in the Canvas site and work as a team and develop the assignment requirements.
Poster and Presentation (15%)
Each group member must contribute to their assignment by preparing, developing a poster, and presenting it. er should include infographics related to assignment requirements where you use graphics to address assignment requirements.
er and presentation structure should roughly be the same as your assignment documentation. There are three options to record your presentations.
1. You can use student’s virtual desktop to access MS PowerPoint tool to create er and or record the presentation as a team. Then submit er and the presentation.
2. Create your poster then use the virtual rooms to record your presentation. For this, you are required to email your lecturer with date, time and group number and student ids to create the virtual room as per your team’s request. The details should be submitted to your lecturer before 1st of October, 3:00pm and all group members must be included in the email. Please note for virtual room recording, everyone in the team should attend the presentation at the same time to record it. Once it is recorded, you can provide the link as part of your presentation submission.
3. You can develop your poster and record your presentation in Youtube and provide a link to your recording.
The main concepts to cover are the updated MOV and scope, required time, budget, quality, main risks of the project and why do we need to select your project (e.g. the value that you will bring to this project and the value that this project will bring to the domain) and include your group names and student ids in er.
Note that due to the nature of this assessment, no late submissions will be accepted.
er presentation is limited to 2 minutes per person in each group (e.g. group of 4 members) and should not exceed longer than 8 minutes for the whole team.
er should not exceed more than 2 slides in PowerPoint format or 2 pages in .pdf or .docx format excluding references.
Please note individual work will receive zero marks for their submission. er presentation and submission must be done as a group.
Your presentation should be professional. Each student’s Id/name must be clarified for part of your presentations.

Final project details (25%)
In this assignment, it is assumed that the sponsor/tutor has selected your team’s project to be funded. Therefore, you should provide a detailed and updated project management plan based on the agreement below to document how the budget will be invested and what processes will be followed to ensure a successful delivery of projects’ requirements. This is an example of real-life practical learning since now your project is assumed to be funded and provided with the money resource.
“With the agreement that your sponsor has reduced the project budget by 50%, has requested to be a project manager of this project and bring his own technology designer (e.g. website, platform, technology or mobile application designer) and to outsource half of your activities/resources to their own company called TechComm2021, you should consider the following details and develop an updated and appropriate planning to meet the requirements.”
Explain how the budget reduction, management change and outsourcing will impact your project’s time, cost, scope, and quality. For this reason, please provide a table/diagram to present the effect of the changes in triple constraints including quality. In addition, explain if these changes will affect the initial MOV. Discuss the project change management plan that you will consider managing this change (e.g. how you will consider changing your project manager and technology designer and outsourcing 50% of your work to company TechComm2021, what the consequences of this change will be and what leadership style will be suitable for your case and why?)
Identify three potential conflicts among the teamand three major and specific ethical issues that might arise and how you are planning to manage them. The team should also provide an updated Gantt Chart considering the changes made to triple constraints including the quality.
Provide project communication plan to manage all the communication channels (such as communication matrix) including sponsor and all internal and external stakeholders. In your documentation, represent what procurement approach for each resource will be taken and why.
Provide detailed minutes of all your group meetings in the appendices; including meeting date/times, decision made, communication channels, changes required, responsibility for each group member name and ID and progress on each task.
List all the assumptions that you have made for this project.
For 6678 G students only, explain processes that required to complete your project (e.g. how do we know if the project has been completed) and how would you know if your procurement approach is the best selected one (hint: explain for each resource separately).
Hint 1: if you choose one of the case studies in the Canvas site, you will need to come up with initial budget, time, MOV, scope and WBS then apply the changes as per above requirements and indicate this as initial and updated project plan.
Hint 2: if you choose one of your own proposals to do the assignment, you can discuss the changes and updates in text rather than showing both initial and updated WBS or time/cost/MOV.
Please note the quality of the content will be the main assessment criteria in this assignment.

You should submit the assignment requirements in their appropriate dropbox. Please also note the draft Urkund dropbox is available to check prior to your final submission.
You must provide assignment coversheet in the first page of your submission, and this is excluded from the page limits.
Please name your file as your “studentid1-2-3.doc or .docx”. Only one person in each group will submit their work; however, every group member should keep an electronic copy of their work.
Please provide any references that you used to develop your project planning. You should follow an appropriate referencing style.

You must provide and develop your poster, presentation and final documentation in a professional format and manner as you are reporting to a real company or organisation.
The final project documentation must not exceed 20 pages for 7173 & 25 pages for 6678G in length which excludes assignment coversheet, tables and diagrams and appendices.
