Recently management conducted an annual formal performance review and identified that the organisation is facing some performance issues. After analysing the underperformance of the employees, management has identified several reasons:

To manage the underperformance and increase the skills base of the employees, management has decided to provide coaching. To do so, they want a coaching strategy and coaching program in place that can help with the following:

Improved decision-making
Increased productivity
Increased employee engagement
The board of directors have arranged a meeting with the Human Resources Manager and allocated the responsibility to plan, develop and implement a coaching strategy and to monitor the implementation of the coaching program in the organisation.
Task:
In this assessment task, you are required to take on the role of the Human Resources Manager for North Wharf and develop a coaching strategy and coaching program. To do so, you need to complete the following activities:

Activity 3: Plan the coaching program and the coaching models

Activity 1: Develop a coaching strategy
In this activity, you are required to develop a coaching strategy. To do so, you need to: PR 1.1. Research the organisational context, review the need for and role of coaching within the organisation. PR 1.2. Establish a framework for coaching strategy based on the organisational context and needs. Your framework must include the following components of the coaching strategy. Scope of strategy: The scope of the strategy covers its context and reach. In other words, who it applies to and to which areas of the organisation, should be detailed in this section. Administration: A method of tending to or managing the affairs of the coaching strategy by designated and defined persons, committees or departments. Amount of material support: Outline what support is needed to effectively implement the coaching strategy. Application in the workplace: Outline how in a workplace environment the coaching strategy and the program itself can be implemented. Content and resources: Detail the content (what needs to be done) of the coaching itself, and the resources or tools and equipment necessary for carrying out the coaching strategy. Expected outcomes: The potential effects and consequences of implementing and carrying out the coaching strategy should be included in this section. Facilities and location: Detail the facilities and location requirements to implement the coaching strategy. The method or mode of interaction (i.e. physical or electronic): Delivery method or mode of the interaction whether that is physical as face to face or electronic over a webinar etc. Learning style for different types of employees/learners being coached. Reporting requirements: – This section should list and describe the reporting requirements such as: Reporting frequencies and timing, Report content, Required coaching skills and methods, Determine roles, responsibilities and outcomes for the following key individuals involved in coaching strategy, The coaches, Coachees. PR 1.3 Consult the Chief Financial Officer (student) and General Manager (trainer/assessor) regarding the timelines for the coaching strategy implementation.
Activity 2: Obtain organisational support for a coaching strategy
After developing the coaching strategy, you are now required to obtain the organisational support for the coaching strategy from the Chief Financial Officer (student) and General Manager (Trainer/Assessor). You need to arrange a meeting with them. During the meeting you need to: You will also be required to record the meeting minutes in the template Meeting Minutes provided below:
Activity 3: Plan coaching program and coaching models
In this activity, you are required to plan a coaching program and coaching models to suit: The coaching strategy prepared in Activity 1: Organisation’s performance issues as given in the scenario, Use the General Managers brief as a guideline, You must document your response in the template Plan for a Coaching Program provided.
Activity 4: Design induction and training package
In this activity, you are required to design an induction and training package to ensure that the coachees and trainees understand their roles, duties and the desired results of the coaching programme. The induction and training package must include the following: Training contract, Develop the training based on the organisational needs, Relevant policies and procedures, That aligns with the organisational requirements, A copy of the outcomes (with proposed timelines), Your SWOT analysis will help determine the requirements and help deliver the timelines, Grievance/complaints procedure, What processes have you put in place to deal with complaints? Or grievances?, Tools and equipment used during the coaching program, Relevant contact numbers (Trainer/Assessor to provide), Timetable for coaching sessions and meeting, You must document your response in the template Induction and Training Package provided below 
Activity 5: Design tools and resources for coaches and trainees
In this activity you are required to design the following tools and resources for the coaches and trainees: You must use MS Word to prepare the tools and resources above.
Activity 6: Analyse legal, regulatory and organisational compliance requirements
In this activity, you are required to conduct online research to analyse legal, regulatory and organisational compliance requirements for coaches. These requirements must, in the context of the following: Workplace relations legislation, Privacy law and security of information, Competency standards and licensing requirements, You must document your response in the template regulatory and Compliance provided.
Activity 7: Establish recruitment processes
In this activity, you are required to establish recruitment processes for coaches and trainees and consider their roles in the implementation of the coaching strategy. The recruitment processes must include the following: Recruitment process, Selection process.
