Report of the Gallup Strengths Finder
After completing the Gallop strength finders and according to the insight guide, it gives report of my top 5 theme. These are;
Belief        2. Relator         3. Ideation        4. Connectedness          5. Positivity
Many insights was given about my personality which I intend to discuss about in this report.
Firstly, Belief . Beliefas described in the report is about People who have certain core values that are unchanging. Out of these values emerges a defined purpose for their life.
This is so true about my personality. I believe that life is not an accident and we were all made uniquely to actualize purpose. Everything happens in our for a reason and I believe that principles and values makes a man. Living without known values will make an unproductive life. I strongly believe in not jeopardizing my faith and religion to please anyone. Of course in no way have I impeded anyone with my belief, I rather respects people’s views, beliefs and ideologies as well.
One of an interesting feedback in the report is measuring the quality of life where it says I measure in more tangible ways rather than in a materialistic manner. I truly prefer to spend quality time with my family and friends, and do enjoy investing time with close relations than working for an extra hour or weekends. I value financial security of course but not to the detriment of family. I most times think of creative ways to make a side income through ideas, helping to be more financially independent, spending time with quality things as a result.
Secondly, Just as previously discussed about rather spending time with family and friends, next is Relator. According to the report it is described as for People who enjoy close relationships with others. “They find deep satisfaction in working hard with friends to achieve a goal.”
As a rational thinker, naturally people gravitate towards me for suggestions, advices and ideas, either for validation or for encouragement, I am quite interested in adding value to people around me as much as I can, improving myself as well in the process.
Thirdly is Ideation, and it is described by the Gallop report as for People who are fascinated by ideas. This is so true about me. I am so rivetted when it comes to exploring and executing ideas. I cannot count number of times I have initiated life-saving, profit making ideas to help the team or provide support as needed. I have worked in the healthcare industry and my idea of the use of a soaked bath flannel helped residential residents with personal care in the morning. Also suggesting an interactive USB content for a Training organization was so successful they grew in size and had more Clientele. Where I am in a comfortable environment, I generate inventive ideas for new projects and eager to share the knowledge, I do not really care if recognized for it or not, so far the idea is been utilized. I always do have a different approach to things, as the saying goes “the same mind used to create a problem should not be used to seek out for the solution”. A different pattern of thoughts helps me get insights into options, ideas of attaining a goal or bringing results. This is one of the strengths I possess and like more.
Again, another of the Gallop strengths is Connectedness. It is for People who have faith in the links between all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost every event has a reason. As true as it sounds, though having a different adjective, I can relate to some of the description and insights into this fifth strength.
Some people has observed my high sensitivity nature, which is true, and it can be heightened especially when there are challenges around me. In the workplace in some leadership position it is natural for me to observe and be sensitive to the multicultural nature of the organization in my communication, behaviours even at leisure times. Being aware is a strength I have and it has helped me overcome unnecessary issues. Everyone has its own values and culture to be respected, though we may be jointly connected in the works we do, which is what we have in common. I see everyone as diverse as we are as one, we are connected people whose strengths lies in our diversity, connectedness, religion, economic levels and cultures. Having been in a leadership position where equal opportunities were given to individuals irrespective of their gender, race or language. It did foster growth and good working environment.
Lastly, Positivity is a strength highlighted in the report. According to the report, It is described for individuals who have an enthusiasm that is contagious. They are upbeat and can get others excited about what they are going to do. This is an exact of my true character. I am so enthusiastic firstly, about Life in general, living and having this life is a privilege, gratitude is a necessity which is why living the most of my life as a valuable human being to people is inevitable. I strive to being positive all the time irrespective of the situation or challenges. This attribute has garnered me accolades and respect from across all boundaries. They know I will never be pessimistic about a situation, and as one of my favourite sayings goes “if there is life, there is hope”. So I am most times upbeat with cheerful dispositions. As described in my earlier strengths I believe that is why people get attracted to me to come for insights, advices and ideas, I have a welcoming temperament, infusing energy and connection, transforming moods of individuals, and with humour make a sore sad face beam light and happiness after a chat.
An interesting sentence in the report completely describes me, it says “You frequently remind people life is too short to waste time being listless, angry, upset, frustrated, or miserable”. Exactly, I have known that being worried is a waste of imagination and fear is only an illusion, but if they set their mind on the positive side of life, they can overcome whatever situation they may be going through. I start by telling them to have gratitude for the little things they have accomplished in past. I give them reasons to be grateful which helps them feel better with themselves, creating a positive vibe or energy as a result.

YOUR PERSONALIZED STRENGTHS INSIGHTS
What makes you stand out?
By nature, you have no doubts about being linked in some way with everything in the universe. This
includes all creation and all humankind. Because of your strengths, you sometimes delve into
opportunities or situations to find clues for handling them. Piecing together patterns of cause and
effect from past or current events sometimes allows you to propose alternate routes to a particular
goal. Perhaps few things take you by surprise. Why? You might study several options or craft
innovative solutions that short-circuit problems before they arise. Chances are good that you feel
better about yourself when you are honest and forthright with people. Telling untruths and omitting
important facts violates your personal code of ethics. Instinctively, you value financial security, but you
refuse to think about it as much as many people do. You measure the quality of your life in less
tangible but more meaningful ways. You place a higher priority on spending time with family and
friends than working overtime to make extra money. You prefer a simple, less costly vacation to an
expensive trip. You treasure a gift someone made for you more than a costly present purchased at an
upscale, trendy store. It’s very likely that you frequently point out issues, problems, or obstacles
before others see them. You probably have been labeled a pessimist. You commonly reply, “I’m just
being realistic. I choose to fix things before they wear out, break down, or become obsolete.”
